We are always on the lookout for volunteers to provide support for trans youths in Singapore. If you are 18 years old & above (21 years old & above for befriending), consider joining TransBefriender to uplift the transgender community in Singapore!


We have two recruitment cycles in a year, January & June,

with roles like befrienders and tutors available.



Befriender (Volunteer)



Befriending





- At least 21 years old

- Has transitioned (medically/socially)

- Any gender

- Passionate in reaching out to youths

- Training will be provided

- Able to commit at least a year

- Completed NIE training or equivalent qualifications

- At least 3 years experience in teaching/tutoring preferred

- Able to commit at least once a week for a year
